How it works

Add two or more PDF files, drag them into the order you want, and click merge. The files are combined right here in your browser using your own device โ€” nothing is uploaded to a server, so your documents stay completely private and the merge is fast even for large files.

How to merge PDF files

Drop in or choose two or more PDFs, drag each row by the โ ฟ handle until the list is in the order you want (files combine top to bottom), then click "Merge & Download." The combined file downloads immediately as merged.pdf.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?
No. The merge runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript โ€” your files never leave your device or touch a server.

Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?
No hard limit is enforced. Since merging happens in your browser rather than on a server, the practical limit is your device's available memory โ€” merging a large number of big files may run slower on older devices.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not currently โ€” encrypted or password-protected PDFs can't be read by the merge tool and will cause an error. Remove the password from the file first, then merge it.

Can I change the order after adding files?
Yes. Drag any file by its handle to move it up or down before merging, or remove one with the ร— button if you added it by mistake.
